Hidden within the tax code is a powerful opportunity that many entrepreneurs and their advisors overlook. In “Hidden in the Tax Code: The QSBS Break Every Entrepreneur and Advisor Should Know,” Vikram Ganu, Director of Tax at Whittier Trust, will explain how Qualified Small Business Stock (QSBS) can offer significant income and estate tax savings to business owners, founders, investors, and their families. He will highlight the key qualifications, common planning opportunities, and potential pitfalls, while demonstrating why thoughtful planning, including the use of a non-resident corporate trustee —often well before a business sale—can make a meaningful difference in preserving wealth.
